Ranger is perfectly positioned to deliver opportunity to the right partners. We are a dynamic company, but we remain humble and family owned. It means regional representatives can approach their task to set up and grow a company with a tried and tested business plan, backed by an existing reputation for delivery of world-class product and expertise. However, they are not hindered by a corporate structure that is detached from reality. We support start-up and expansion strategies in line with what our partners and their customers want.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
When we enter a new marketplace, we make a commitment to its professionals who use material handling and other products at the sharp end of their industries. We acknowledge that breadth of product, availability and quick delivery are key to earning trust, especially as a new brand is being introduced to customers. Every region is different—we don’t roll out a standard ‘starter kit’—but we readily stock facilities with six-figures-worth of stock, high capacity presses, testbeds and mobile test trucks, for example, if there is a considered requirement for them. A full range of Ranger slings, shackles, other below-the-hook equipment, and height safety solutions is at partners’ disposal. We also encourage partners to generate enquiries for bespoke products.
A SIMPLE PROCESS
When we are confident we have found the right partner, we give them time, investment and trust. The same family values that started the business remain at its core and we don’t burden new representatives with corporate bureaucracy. We recognise that to make a success of a start-up rigging shop, a partner needs simplicity of terms and a clear vision for what is expected of them and, in turn, what they can expect of us. Transparency has been key to successful on-boarding in the past and it will remain integral to our ongoing growth strategy.
We don’t have a one-size-fits-all package for new partners. Instead, we tailor an agreement that works for all parties and puts our representatives’ personal, financial and career interests at its heart. Only by putting in place an investment programme that considers everyone’s long-term requirements can we create an environment conducive to success. If prospective partners have questions or concerns about investment they should talk to Ranger and we will address them at the outset of our negotiations. Our priority is accommodating the needs of the right people.
