A record spell of tight bowling from Nathan Bracken helped NSW restrict Queensland to nine for 239 in yesterday's Ford Ranger Cup one-day clash.
Paceman Bracken took 1-12 from his 10 overs at the SCG, claiming a record for the least runs conceded by a NSW bowler in a domestic one-day game. The national mark is held by Western Australia's Graeme Porter who took one for eight from his 10 overs against Victoria in Perth in 1986. Bracken is the leading wicket-taker in one-day internationals for 2006, claiming 46 wickets at 18.82 in 23 matches for Australia.
