14t Load Test – Custom Spreader Bar

Ranger worked with Austral Precast to obtain all engineering documentation required to load test a 14t custom spreader beam. The beam contained four trolleys on the underside of the beam, each supporting 3.5t. The beam was used to lift precast panels around the client’s yard as well as on-site.

Ranger also designed the lift, organised the use of the crane as well as the hire and delivery of all test weights to site. Once the weights arrived, Ranger qualified technicians rigged the lift and supervised the load test.

On completion, all relevant plates and signage were designed, printed and installed by Ranger.
