Ranger supplied and installed debris nets for the Cross Yarra Partnership (Melbourne Metro Rail Tunnel) project in both the Franklin East and A’beckett street shafts.
The nets were strung across the caverns and covered approximately 1800 square metres. The nets were installed at heights ranging from 10 -12m and provide protection again debris falling down the shafts to personnel working on the ground underneath.
The nets were installed progressively over a 12 month period.
