DEFAZIO – MONORAIL CRANE AND HOIST

A monorail hoist and crane was supplied, installed and commissioned for the Probuild site at 600 Bourke Street. The system was installed on the east face initially and then had to be dismantled and reinstalled on the South, West and North face before being removed.

The system was installed 11m in the air and included a 600kg electric chain hoist and trolley and was used to lift high-end stone to enable Defazio’s stonemasons to clad the walls of the elevator shaft.

The project also involved developing a lifting system for the stones and the proof test of each of the chemset anchors in the top of the stones.
