A lifting point is the connection between the lifting means and the load. It connects the loaded goods with the lifting gear both during lifting and rotation as well as during turning and movement of loads. Lifting points are ring bolts, eyebolts, flanges etc.  Since the pulling direction cannot be changed, they are often used for single-leg solutions. Note Lifting Points used for lifting applications should be stamped with the following marks, to specify the quality and safety of use of the lifting point:
  • Working Load Limit, Manufacturer’s identification symbol and Traceability code
