Ranger QLD gets stronger
Ranger Lifting has welcomed Richard Lawson as Business Development Manager to our growing team in Darra, Brisbane.
Richard brings a wealth of experience in lifting and specialist material handling with more than 14 years’ experience working for the leader in the hoist market in Australia. Specialising in manual, electric and pneumatic hoists he is well known as the industry go-to man for all things hoist-related.
Since migrating from the UK in 2007, Richard has held several senior roles including Business Manager, Business Development Manager and Corporate Accounts Manager providing product advice and technical solutions to a range of industries Australia-wide.
“I’ve worked alongside the Ranger guys for many years and when an opportunity came up to join their team locally, I jumped at the chance,” said Lawson. “They’re good operators with a strong brand and a reputation for excellent service. I’m excited to be on board and looking forward to getting stuck into the role.”
He joins the Ranger Brisbane team at a time of significant growth and will provide invaluable support to the Brisbane State Manager, Liam McCaffrey. His specialist knowledge and expertise in hoists will add tremendous value to our national sales and technical services teams.

When he’s not hard at work designing custom lifting solutions, you will find Richard either glued to a Chelsea FC match or polishing his two classic Lambretta’s (Italian scooters for those of us with no idea).
